Excellent breakfast, convenient location, unique theme, helpful staff.

Can't fault anything about it.

We had a fantastic time at Katajanokka, Helsinki, A Tribute Portfolio. The hotel's unique history as an old prison added a cool touch to the overall experience. Our room was cozy and beautifully designed, with a bonus feature of a private sauna in the bathroom. The location was perfect, close to the waterfront and parks, great to explore the surrounding area easily.

It is a great place to stay in Helsinki, I loved its location and atmosphere. There is a variety of restaurants to eat, like Ravintola Wellamo that is only 10 minutes' walk away.

It's quirky place to stay 2 km away from The Esplanadi Park. The rooms are brand-new, the breakfast is savoury and included.

I was initially apprehensive about staying in a converted prison, but Hotel Katajanokka exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. What stood out the most was the excellent staff. They went out of their way to help me arrange an art tour of the Pasila neighborhood, and their helpfulness was really good. the hotel's location in a quiet neighborhood was a definite plus.

The location of the hotel was really convenient, with easy access to ferry and boat trips, and a tram stop right outside the hotel. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, providing efficient service. the unique concept of staying in a converted prison made the experience quite interesting.

Interesting prison hotel with historic cell open to the public. Friendly staff, good value for money. Excellent atmosphere and quietness. Superb breakfast. Comfy beds, clean bathroom, nice staff, good breakfast choices. Air circulation and daily room service could be improved. Sauna should be included in the cost.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was delighted with the location as it was situated in a silent area near the wharf. Here, I could enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and have a good night's sleep. The staff were very friendly and the services provided were of high quality, including the room service. The room was well equipped with all the amenities I needed, such as ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with a wide range of options to choose from, and the picnic area/tables outside were very convenient for a nice outdoor meal.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this area.

I had an amazing experience staying in an ex-prison hotel. The hotel was designed to a high standard, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The beds were super comfortable and the facilities were clean. The bathroom was very nice, with a great-sized bath and shower, and plenty of towels and accessories provided. The breakfast buffet included a great variety of local and oriental foods, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location was very convenient, with a tram stop right outside and only a 5-10 minute ride to the city center. it was a great place to have a unique and comfortable stay.

It was all superb.
